An Old Fasioned Roast

I'm not sure this is a chapter. It could fail miserably. Or it could be fun. It worked as a Roast in a going-way party. Would it work in a book?  I think this is where my so-called Friends get to hit me with a paragraph or three... (no longer than that, I'm thinking... unless it's really good). And of course, I am the final gate-keeper for this chapter.
